To Live Is to Die

A site-specific installation conceived after walking the museum with the curator in search of the right space. The work occupies an unusual high traffic hallway with a glass wall directly across from it, facing outside. Positioned inside the institution but still in visual conversation with the public passing by. The forms are arranged in a state of precarious balance, barely holding on to the edge of a doorway. That tension between stability and collapse becomes a quiet metaphor for the fragility of life itself.
