The piece that changed everything. Made half on a living room floor and half in a father's workshop, at a time when the apartment was the studio and there was no budget for materials. The colored shards are spray paint caps collected from the streets, found under bridges where graffiti writers would paint. Broken apart and organized by color, they became a mosaic of found objects assembled into a skull. The work appeared in newspapers worldwide almost overnight and still circulates as phone backgrounds years later. It marked the beginning of Typoe's career and established the core tension between celebration and mortality that continues to drive the work.
