A commission with Genius, the world's largest lyrics database, and Dropbox for an experiential exhibition in Los Angeles featuring artists from different cities and mediums. Typoe chose lyrics from Biggie Smalls, arguably one of the greatest rappers ever. The phrase was built in huge block letters, colorful and stacked, stretching thirty to forty feet long. Child like in shape but monumental in scale. The piece connects hip hop's most iconic line about aspiration to Typoe's longstanding exploration of childhood education, building blocks, and the act of dreaming itself.
