TYPOE's Artistic Showcase at the Del Toro Shoes Dinner in Wynwood
On February 15th, I had the honor of being the featured artist at an exclusive dinner hosted by Del Toro Shoes in Wynwood, Miami. This special evening was a part of CORZO® Tequila's series aimed at celebrating art in key American cities.
The venue, Del Toro’s stylish Wynwood Headquarters, was transformed into an artful dining space, centered around one of my large installations. The piece was a hand-carved bust made from foam, covered in resin, designed to captivate and add an artistic touch to the evening.
This event wasn't just about showcasing my art; it was a gathering of Miami's most influential figures in fashion, art, and design. It marked the second in the CORZO® dinner series, following an event that fused art and music.
One of the evening's highlights was my 12-foot statue, set as the centerpiece in the gallery. Adding to the theme, guests wore Del Toro shoes styled to complement the custom designs I created for the tables. This fusion of fashion and art made for an unforgettable experience, celebrating the creativity and talent present.
The night was also a culinary adventure, with Chef Henry Hane preparing a four-course menu paired with CORZO® cocktails. The combination of art, fashion, fine dining, and engaging company made for a truly exceptional evening.
It's always a joy to share my work with such a diverse and appreciative audience, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to contribute to Miami's vibrant art scene.
