Miami New Times named TYPOE's "Living Form Dying Ground" at Primary one of the best art shows to see in Miami for February 2025.
The article noted massive crowds and tons of cars on NW Miami Court for the opening on January 31. The critic described the experience: "I could barely cram in to see pop-adjacent work by Typoe Gran at Primary." The review called his detailed canvases, alternately colorful or monochromatic and filled with weird geometric details, "a bit like Bosch filtered through the lens of Kaws."
The piece also observed the energy around Little River's gallery scene, with Primary and neighboring gallery Homework both hosting openings the same night, drawing comparisons to 2016 Wynwood.
