The Color Walk series focuses on artists and their artworks in the Color Field exhibition, which traveled from Crystal Bridges Museum in Bentonville, Arkansas to the University of Houston.

Typoe is one of seven artists featured in the exhibition. His piece, Forms from Life, is made up of multiple elements and was influenced by children's building blocks, which serve as a learning tool for understanding spatial relationships and social interaction.

The installation also features a raven—a reference to Edgar Allan Poe—symbolizing death or darkness. The work explores the contrast between light and dark in everyday life, a recurring theme throughout Typoe's practice.

Curator Mike Guidry leads viewers through the installation, discussing the conceptual framework and visual language of the work.
