Boca Raton Museum Unveils 'In the House of Shadows, Flowers Bloom'

The Boca Raton Museum of Art has unveiled a new entry sculpture by Miami artist TYPOE, titled "In the House of Shadows, Flowers Bloom."
The public installation greets visitors at the museum's entrance, marking another significant addition to South Florida's public art landscape. The unveiling was strategically timed to coincide with the museum's 39th Annual Art Festival, held January 31 and February 1, 2026 in Mizner Park.
The Boca Museum Art Festival is the only art festival affiliated with the Boca Raton Museum of Art and the only art festival permitted the full breadth of Mizner Park. Recognized nationally as one of the Top 200 Fine Arts Festivals, the event draws 45,000 to 60,000 art enthusiasts annually.
TYPOE's sculpture continues his exploration of form, mortality, and the tension between light and dark—themes that have defined his practice for over two decades. The work joins a growing collection of public art installations by the artist across Florida and beyond.
