Typoe (b. 1983, Miami, FL) is a multidisciplinary artist whose work evolves in response to a given situation or site specific environment. Gunpowder, fire, plastic, spray paint and found objects are just some of the materials used in his installations.

Typoe has participated in gallery and museum shows around the world and exhibited his work in Mexico City, New York, Los Angeles, Buenos Aires, and Basel, Switzerland.

Recent public commissions include work for the newly launched Brightline High Speed Railway System, the Port of Miami, Dropbox’s Lyrics to Life Project in Los Angeles, and international sportswear brand Adidas. Typoe lives and works in Miami, Florida.

His latest solo show, Tired of Eating Pigeons, opened in the Miami Design District in September 2018. The exhibition is free and open to the public.

Commissioner was launched with the support of Knight Foundation's Knight Arts Challenge, which funds the best ideas for bringing South Florida together through the arts.
